Subtle Red & Pink Ombre Shimmer
Oh, this is just dreamy! The soft gradient from a sheer, shimmery pink at the cuticle to a beautiful translucent red at the tips is so ethereal. The subtle sprinkle of fine glitter throughout gives it that extra touch of magic. This almond nail shape really complements the softness of the ombre.
How I’d Recreate This:
To get this gorgeous ombre effect, I’d start with a sheer pink base, maybe even one with a bit of shimmer already in it. Then, on a makeup sponge, I’d apply a stripe of the sheer pink and a stripe of a jelly-like red polish ☍ (a sheerer red will blend better). I’d dab the sponge gently onto the nail, moving it slightly up and down to blend the colors. It might take a couple of coats to build up the opacity. Before the final layer, or mixed into the top coat, I’d add a touch of very fine iridescent glitter ☍ for that delicate sparkle. A glossy top coat is essential to smooth everything out and make it shine.
