Theme 3: Blooming Cherry Blossoms & Florals 🌸
Cherry blossoms are a recurring motif in these delicate designs, and for good reason – they are incredibly beautiful! Typically painted on a white, pink, or glittery pink base, they feature thin black or brown branches, clusters of pink petals (often using 5 simple dots pulled slightly inward), and sometimes white highlights or tiny dot accents. Other stylized flowers also appear, often with intricate petal shading and jeweled centers.
- Painting Delicate Florals:
- Start with your chosen base color (pink, white, glittery pink).
- Use your ultra-fine liner brush ☍ and black or dark brown polish to paint the delicate, slightly jagged branches.
- For cherry blossoms: Use a dotting tool ☍ dipped in pink polish to place 5 small dots in a circle at the ends of branches or clustered together. You can add a smaller white or darker pink dot in the center. Some designs show beautiful shading within the petals.
- For other florals: Build the flower petal by petal, often using white for highlights and pink/mauve for shading to create dimension. Add rhinestone centers using nail glue ☍ .
- Add tiny white dots or subtle leaves for extra detail.
- Finish with top coat.
